Acupuncture can help support a wide variety of health concerns by encouraging the body’s natural healing processes and promoting balance within different systems of the body. It is commonly used to address musculoskeletal pain, including neck pain, back pain, headaches, migraines, arthritis, sports injuries, and chronic tension.
Beyond pain management, acupuncture may also help with stress-related conditions, anxiety, insomnia, digestive concerns, allergies, and symptoms associated with hormonal changes and women’s health. Many people also seek acupuncture to support fertility, regulate menstrual cycles, and complement IVF and other reproductive treatments.
Because every person is unique, treatment plans are tailored to your individual symptoms, health history, and goals. If you’re unsure whether acupuncture may be helpful for your specific concern, we welcome you to reach out for a consultation to discuss how treatment can best support your health and wellness journey.

Most people are surprised by how gentle acupuncture feels. The needles used are extremely thin—much finer than those used for injections—and many patients experience little to no discomfort during treatment. You may feel a brief sensation of warmth, heaviness, tingling, or a dull ache as the body responds to the acupuncture point.
Many patients find acupuncture deeply relaxing and even fall asleep during their sessions. Every treatment is tailored to your comfort level, and your practitioner will work with you to ensure you feel safe, comfortable, and at ease throughout the entire experience.

Your first appointment begins with a detailed conversation about your health history, current concerns, lifestyle, and treatment goals. This allows us to understand the bigger picture of your health and create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.
After the consultation, you’ll receive an acupuncture treatment in a comfortable, relaxing environment. Depending on your condition, your session may also include recommendations for herbal medicine, lifestyle modifications, or other supportive therapies to help you achieve the best possible results.
-
The number of treatments needed varies from person to person and depends on the nature, severity, and duration of your condition. Some patients notice changes after just one or two treatments, while chronic or longstanding concerns often require a series of sessions to achieve lasting results.
In general, acute conditions tend to respond more quickly than chronic issues. During your initial consultation, we’ll discuss your health goals and recommend a treatment plan that is tailored to your individual needs, helping you understand what to expect along the way.

We accept select insurance plans and are happy to help you understand and maximize your acupuncture benefits. Coverage varies by provider and plan, so we encourage you to contact your insurance company or reach out to our office with any questions regarding your specific coverage.
If we are not in-network with your insurance plan, we can provide a detailed superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Our goal is to make the process as simple and transparent as possible so you can focus on your health and healing.

We recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to your arms and legs, though gowns and draping are available if needed. It’s also best to eat a light meal or snack before your appointment and arrive well-hydrated to help you feel comfortable during treatment.
Before your visit, take a few moments to think about your health concerns, symptoms, and goals for treatment. Bringing a list of medications, supplements, or recent medical information can also be helpful and allows us to provide the most personalized care possible.
