What to Expect on your first visit

your first acupuncture appointment is a chance for me to get to know you, understand your health concerns, and create a treatment plan tailored to you.

Before your Appointment

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to find parking and the clinic.

Avoid heavy meals and alcohol 2 hours prior to your appointment.

During your appointment

You’ll relax while I insert thin, sterile needles.

cupping, GuaSha, and/or Herbal recommendations may be part of your care.

Many patients feel relaxed and leave with a sense of calm.

After your appointment

Effects can build over several treatments.

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

I understand that plans change.  If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, may be subject to a cancellation fee.  Insurance cannot be billed for missed appointments or late cancellations.
